BIA response to survey on the 10 Year Health Plan
The BIA has responded to the Government’s survey to inform the development of a 10 Year Health Plan for England. In our response, we:
- Call for continued partnership working with the life science sector, who will be key players in the shift to prevention through early diagnosis and the better use of technology in health and care.
- Highlight the important role which key technologies will play in creating an NHS fit for the future, including cell and gene therapies, techbio, and precision and genomic medicine.
- Provide recommendations on how the Government can overcome specific barriers to enable a health service fit to the future.
