Pioneer and Miltenyi Biotec unveil strategic partnership at Victoria House
Pioneer Group is pleased to announce that we have entered into a strategic partnership with Miltenyi Biotec, an innovator of products and services for biomedical research and cell and gene therapies.
Through this collaboration, Miltenyi Biotec will establish a suite of state-of-the-art instruments at Victoria House, our flagship life sciences centre in London’s Knowledge Quarter. This strategic placement will empower Miltenyi Biotec to accelerate research and development while directly engaging with the site’s vibrant ecosystem of resident companies.
Empowering Researchers
Spanning 300,000 sq ft of contemporary office and lab space, Victoria House facilitates the collaboration of life sciences businesses, technology entrepreneurs, academia, research, large pharma and venture finance teams.
Through the partnership, Victoria House tenants will have access to Miltenyi Biotec’s gentleMACS™ Dissociator, AutoMACS® Neo Separator, MACSQuant® Analyzer and MACS® Pickup systems, providing researchers with a seamless workflow for tissue dissociation, cell isolation and flow cytometry. Together, the tools aim to empower researchers to achieve high-quality, reproducible results in immunology, oncology, stem cell and regenerative medicine research.
Matthew Cook, Country Manager for the UK and Ireland at Miltenyi Biotec, says:
Here at Miltenyi Biotec, our core aim is to provide innovative technologies and services to advance patient-specific cell and gene therapies. Installing a suite of instruments at Victoria House uniquely positions us to advance research and innovation through collaboration with resident companies. Further to this, the partnership allows us to create training and upskilling opportunities for early career researchers, as well as a platform for workshops, events, and hands-on demonstrations to prospective customers. We welcome the opportunity to collaborate with prospective and existing customers of Miltenyi Biotec and Victoria House tenants, helping them to explore how our products can support and accelerate their cutting-edge research.
