About London BioScience Innovation Centre (LBIC)
Founded in 2000, LBIC was London’s first bio-incubator and has been driving biomedical innovation for over two decades. Located in the heart of the Knowledge Quarter, just a ten-minute walk from King's Cross St Pancras, we're home to a vibrant community of over 60 life science companies, from innovative startups to multinational corporations. As a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Royal Veterinary College—the UK’s largest and longest established independent veterinary school and world-class research-led institution—LBIC is committed to nurturing the growth of life science companies and supporting advances in bioscience research and development.
Clients enjoy flexible terms and the support of an experienced team to ensure a smooth set-up. LBIC aims to make life as easy as possible for clients, whether the initial enquiry is for the virtual service, a small office for just a few staff or for a laboratory and associated write-up suites. As circumstances change over time, the team works seamlessly with clients to accommodate their changing needs. LBIC is centrally located next to the Royal Veterinary College (RVC) in Camden, just a ten-minute walk from Kings Cross and Euston mainline stations, St Pancras International for Eurostar services and the Francis Crick Institute. As a wholly-owned subsidiary of the RVC, LBIC can facilitate collaboration opportunities with world-leading researchers, as well as provide access to specialist equipment and contract research services.
