Advanced Cell Therapies Manager
NHSBT is developing a range of novel cell and gene therapies through clinical trials in collaboration with commercial and academic partners. This role offers the ideal candidate a great opportunity to use their extensive knowledge and experience to oversee the manufacture and delivery of these new therapies across several sites for the benefit of patients.
This new national post reflects the increasing activity of NHSBT in developing and delivering new cell therapies such as CAR-T cells under MHRA MIA(IMP) license in partnership with a range of sponsors and customers. Reporting to the Assistant Director for Cellular and Molecular Therapies (CMT), the post holder will work closely with senior Heads of Manufacturing units, quality assurance colleagues and others to ensure products are developed and delivered to meet financial, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
