Levelling the playing field: grant funding for female founders
Women in Biotech returns to London to discuss early-stage funding and how crucially important it is that we get this right for female founders. We know that challenges in representation persist and indeed worsen as biotechs mature and move through stages of funding and clinical development - however if we don't get it right at the beginning and ensure that female entrepreneurs get the critical non-dilutive funding support, combined with early-stage angel and seed funding, we are failing them at the first hurdle.
Our panel of grant providers and founders will discuss what we should be doing now in the UK to get more female founders funded. Join us for a thought-provoking discussion; connect with a welcoming and supportive community of talented life science leaders; be inspired and grow your network!
Due to limited capacity at the venue we are only accepting a maximum of 2 attendees per company at this event. We will continue to monitor this and assess if further places become available closer to the event.
Allyship is something we fully appreciate and this event is open to all.
