Parking
There is parking available at the venue however spaces are limited. Spaces will therefore be offered on a first come, first serve basis.
We encourage attendees to car share or travel via public transport where possible. We have arranged coaches to transport attendees from Whittlesford Parkway station, further details of which can be found below.
Trains & coach service
Whittlesford Parkway is the closest train station and has regular trains running from both London Liverpool Street and central Cambridge.
We have arranged a coach service to collect attendees and depart Whittlesford Parkway station at 10.10 AM, a second coach journey will depart the station at 10.50 AM. The coach will collect from the Red Lion Hotel on Station Road East.
A return coach service has been arranged to collect attendees and depart the Conference Centre at 18.35 PM.
Taxi
Please be aware that Whittlesford and Great Chesterford stations do not have a taxi rank or telephone so please do pre-book taxis where possible. Recommended local taxi companies:

What does your role at BIA involve?
Sam leads the events team at BIA, working on developing and expanding BIA's extensive events programme as well as evolving BIA's existing sector-leading events. Sam overseas the end-to-end event logistics, marketing strategy, planning and execution of the events programme and is also responsible for building exciting event supporter opportunities for BIA members. She also helped establish the Women in Biotech mentoring programme and is responsible for the smooth running of the scheme.
Previous experience & achievements
Sam has extensive experience in events and business development roles, having previously worked at the Chartered Governance Institute developing and delivering their event & training programme. She also worked on a joint project with Sport England helping to establish the Sports Governance Academy and has previously worked in recruitment. Sam has a degree in Business Studies from the University of Liverpool.
