STEMSpire: Empowering the Next Generation of Women in STEAM

For one week in April 2025, STEMSpire will connect twenty Year 10 girls in the greater London area with leading STEAM companies through hands-on learning experiences, interactive workshops, and professional development sessions. This program aims to ignite curiosity, foster skill-building, and inspire young women to explore careers in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM).

Generation STEAM, the nonprofit affiliate of Biocom California, is proud to bring STEMSpire to London in partnership with Motivez, a youth-led organization dedicated to inspiring future leaders. This initiative is part of a professional exchange program through the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) and builds on the success of Girls Who Lead, a program that has introduced hundreds of underserved high school girls in San Diego to STEAM career pathways.
